The Reading Center at Plattsburgh State
"All good books are alike in that they are truer than if they had really happened and after you are finished reading one you will feel that all that happened to you and afterwards it all belongs to you; the good and the bad, the ecstacy, the remorse and sorrow, the people and the places and how the weather was." - Ernest Hemingway, Old Newsman Writes
The Reading Center provides literacy services to education candidates at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Candidates can check out children's books and use other literacy materials in the center.
The Reading Center is located in 332 Sibley Hall. Parents of children ages 4 - 16 can sign their children up for literacy experiences and reading tutoring each semester.
The Reading Center is not open for candidate's use during tutoring times. Because the Reading Center hours change each semester, check the door for the schedule or call the Department of Literacy Office at 564-5149 for details and further information.
